New Indoor Kart Track Open in Allentown, PA

MEET THIS SUNDAY 10/21/07 @ 11:00 AM

http://www.lehighvalleygrandprix.com/

Has anyone been there yet to give a short review? We should schedule a meet up there because it looks pretty nice. It does scare me that it is very close to the ghetto though.

Bill

I was just there the other day for a company outing and it was awesome! scared the **** out of me the first time since I never drifted a tiny cart but once you get the hang of it you dont want to stop.

At Lehigh Valley Grand Prix, SPEED and SAFETY are the most important aspects of the racing experience. Our gas-powered karts can tear up a straight-away at speeds of up to 45 mph. More importantly, they are designed with safety features such as a roll bar, 3 point safety belt, and an impact resistant bumper system. All drivers are also equipped with a full-face helmet and a neck brace to ensure their protection.

LVGP uses Sodi competition karts, the number one indoor kart manufacturer in the world. Our GT3 Proline karts have very sensitive steering and responsive handling, which is ideal for experienced drivers. Adult karts feature 6.5 hp Honda engines and have been hand-crafted for Lehigh Valley Grand Prix. Minimum height: 56 inches

For children ages 10-15, LVGP provides Sodi Kid Karts. Designed with all of the safety features of the adult karts, the kid karts feature 5.5 hp Honda engines. They offer plenty of speed and excitement for kids who are planning to join a league, host a birthday party, or simply race against a few friends. Minimum height: 48 inches

i was at the one in delaware two weekends ago, its built by the same guy who designed this one. On Sunday they have enduro races where for 30 you get 40 laps. We did 3 enduros, it was a blast. I'd be down for trying this one out.

TROLL 10-13-2007 08:20 PM

ha yeah i dont think we'll be renting it for any length of time at over $1000 an hour. i'd be down to go hang out and get a couple races in, i'm sure its a blast. maybe they'll host a car meet there and offer a discount to us that night of the week? hmmmmm... if you want to contact them about it feel free or if you'd like me to then let me know and i'll see what i can do.

Just let me say that Arnols is JUNK now(new owners).Track is smaller and just about all the karks are beat. I am gonna check this out in the very near future.

den9 10-13-2007 11:43 PM

how longs each race?

Piro 10-13-2007 11:49 PM

I saw a review on the paper about a month ago and I was impresed with it. I'm planing to go with my kids in the near future.
