new rx7??? Enticing!

It seems like the year (07-10) of the return, of the late 80s/early 90s sports cars. The new supra speculation from toyota, new rx7 design from mazda, new nsx design from honda/acura.

Im curious to see how many of these designs actually make production

ozthunder 09-19-2007 09:47 AM

And the possible Supra return. I think this design is class..

it looks like poopy, a kabura rx-7 would be 18i274938759e87r9w78e65q342q times better.

new supra will never happen and the "nsx" is in name only

looks like the new freakin nsx

I pray the new RX model comes with a three rotor or turbo ooor both at the same time.

HAHAHAHAHHA

keep praying my friend. for the sake of fuel economy and emission they will NEVER release either ideas, let alone both! emissions are so strict the current renesis barely makes the cut. its a LEV II i believe, which isnt crazy clean considering other sports cars. mazdas concerns are in order here...

emissions
fuel economy
power

and in that order.

they will continue to lean the renesis by direct injection. and that will add to all three of those on that list...

heres a hint jerry, the next rotary turbo that comes out will not be powered by gasoline, thats a fact too, so keep holding ur breath!

that is no rx7, thats the next rx8. i hope they never relive the rx7, bc ANY next gen rx7 will never come close to the spirit r, i dont care if it has 6 rotors and weighs 12 pounds.

it will absolutely stay two rotors, thats what i know.

what i think is that it will be direct injected, possible bump in displacement, 1.5 MAYBE 1.6 if they really stretch those rotors but its only 50/50 in my opinion bc i just cant see it happen. its been 1.3 for so long i cant even comprehend callin something a 16C and ppl knowing what im talking about.

u mention 13B and everyone knows what ur saying....

15b 15c or 16b 16c is weird to me but displacement would solve some issues but add to others so i dunno why they would do that.

direct injection is the only way to justify a wider rotor if they plan on meeting emission standards and adding power and fuel economy! if anyone wants me to go on with that i will but for the sake of my tired fingers ill just leave it at that....

thats the next rx8 based on the kabura concept car, it wont be turbod or three rotor.....itll be DI and thats what i kno
