I learned a long time ago that if you are going to buy clothing for your woman, make sure she is either there, or tells you EXACTLY what she wants. Sure, it's not much surprise, but you can go about it in a way that surprises her (go to the mall, that's your first big surprise, volunteer your time to actually let her look at clothes, second surprise, volunteer more time and let her try on clothes, third surprise, ask which one or two she wants the most, and tell her they are all hers, fourth surprise, all in one day).

Jewelry is pretty much the same way, at least with the women that I have known. One can love a ring, while the next hates it. It's just how it is. And then you have to know sizes, or make it clear that you will take them back to get whatever it is sized.

Flowers always work as a nice surprise, whether they admit to it or not (they tell their friends). Brownie points if you get a just because card and have your own writing in it.

I appreciate all the info. That mall idea is dynamite! I hate going to the mall though... so hopefully she will appreciate it a little more. Thanks jigga's. :)

It depends on your girl and her sense of humor. I have a shirt that my ex-wife from a couple years ago bought me. It has a Dude with a backwards hat holding hands with a monkey that's of the same height as him, and it says, My Monkey is HUGE lol..

My last GF liked that so much that we had talked about getting a shirt that went along with that for her to wear. I went out and took that same design and added a hot chick with daisy dukes and a backwards hat, and she has her arm around the guy. Now the pic has all three in it, the monkey, the dude, and this hot chick, and around the pic in a circle design it says, My Man has a HUGE monkey. :lol:

She loved it. Oh, and damn straight I took that shirt when I left her crazy ass.
