lownslow95 09-05-2007 06:14 PM

no, i don't live in that area, but i know what you mean about speed traps. back out where i live, their were speed traps every where i looked. there are even a billion speed traps out here in lancaster...i guess you gotta keep them horse and buggys from speeding...

It's revenue-generation season again?

goodfella732 09-05-2007 07:18 PM

redline 09-05-2007 07:31 PM

I know NJ has been on a ticket frenzie lately. I remember someone saying watch out this month but everyone I know is getting them.

Turbo s60R 09-05-2007 07:55 PM

the cop was deff cool about it thou..... he wrote it without points

doug 09-05-2007 07:57 PM

I'm pretty sure that 51 in a 45 isn't points anyways....

DC2.2GSR 09-05-2007 08:03 PM

it's real strange around here lately too, there's at least 3-4 police cars that i see along rt 100 around boyertown and pottstown every morning on the way to work.. then right in town there's a ton too. i see a few different people pulled over every morning/at lunch/after work. it really is like they've just boosted their ticket giving power and gotten really anal about everything.

doug 09-05-2007 08:05 PM

From what I've heard on the news that Delaware County, Philly and some other counties around here got over 3 million dollars to fight speeding and aggressive driving, because 99% of accidents last year were caused by that.

Sounds like it.

Havetown has been setting one up for a few months by the church on Township line (Between Drexel Ave. and Edmunds). I passed it again tonight.

Ashley 09-05-2007 08:23 PM

it is getting really bad... they have started to install cameras on the GSP so they can get a digital video feed of people wreckless driving.... imagine how many tax dollars theyr blowing on that sht.... why dont they pave some damn roads so we can all rock front lips safely....

cburwell 09-05-2007 08:33 PM

What's the GSP?

menace 09-05-2007 08:39 PM

Garden State Parkway. I saw those cameras on the bridge,I dont even feel safe driving on the parkway anymore,Im paranoid that theyre gonna send me a ticket for 65 over the driscoll bridge. The speed limit goes from 65 to 45,wtf?

doug 09-05-2007 09:06 PM

It's a bridge, what do you expect?

LS2GTO 09-05-2007 09:30 PM
