VIP Requirements?? (A.K.A. The Somehow Transformed 'Subaru' vs. 'Silvia' Thread)

What exactly classifies a car as VIP status??

I thought I remembered something with the camber...and how much tucks...

Anyone want to clarify this for me??

I think I've got an idea...

CHAOS 08-16-2007 06:36 AM

if you have to ask, you will never know lol

i see them as clean, slammed, cambered out, big japanese cars.

Snoozie 08-16-2007 11:00 AM

there is a VIP forum. keith is a member, i cant think of whats its called right now. but there are several different "styles" of VIP. I personaly like the Executive style. Its the basic slammed, big nice wheels, tint and exhaust. No crazy camber or anything like that. And sometimes a lip? Not sure though.

If you do it you should use a Infiniti M45, thatd be hott!

dont forget subtle lip kits and curtains.

Snoozie 08-16-2007 11:10 AM

I said lip, sheesh!

Get a M45!

TripleBlack9SE 08-16-2007 11:14 AM

larger bodied Japanses sedans (saloons haha) with large wheels (usually 20s), lip kits, deep toned exhausts, very low suspensions (usually air ride), and very luxorious interiors w/lots of wood grain.

Junction Produce is the leader in this space and they make GREAT products...

Are you thinking of building a VIP car?

EDIT: 99% of them are black

Snoozie 08-16-2007 11:20 AM

Ahhh! This thread makes me wanna do my car up more and more!

james_ls 08-16-2007 11:58 AM

I am thinking of doing a VIP car...but in the meantime I'm slamming the dickballs off of the Integra with some bigger wheels.

Trying to get that slightly VIP-inspired look.

TripleBlack9SE 08-16-2007 12:02 PM

I went for a little VIPish look on my old G35x Sedan...had i kept it longer i would have switched wheels and slammed it on bags :D

Coilovers.

Down there.

Most likely 17x8 but POSSIBLY (and hopefully not too large) 18x8

I had 16's on there before and they looked big because of ride-height...now it's going lower...with bigger...

We'll see...

Buster 08-16-2007 12:18 PM

I think being Americans we get the opportunity to redefine a style and make it our own, so VIP sourced is pretty cool

OMGz Turbo 08-16-2007 01:10 PM

my brothers G35 coupe could probably classify as VIP Status.19" ADR's slammed to the ground with some kind of lip, Stillen exhaust and tinted out lol its the sex

Seen alot by the mall its a dark grey

NJGOAT 08-16-2007 02:12 PM

VIP...hmmmm...I would classify it as showing up at a club or restraunt and having the valets fight over who gets to park your car. Unfortunately that ususally isn't how it goes when you drive a slammed Japanese barge.

Sounds good. Slamming your car is ALWAYS a good idea an almost always looks good. Have a look at these two sites for some cool VIP ish:
