dashboard brake light problem

ok here is my problem. last night driving home all of a sudden the brake light in the dash(the one that lights up when the ebrake is engaged) lit up. It would only go out if i hit the brakes to come to a stop or accelerated from a stop. but it would come back on in like a sec. just not comin home it was doin the same thing, but within the last 15mins of my trip when i came to a stop and stayed stopped it would'nt come back on. but as soon as i was moving again, like halfway through 1st it would come back on. it also will go off for a sec if i am in 1-4th higher in the rpms and tap the throttle causing it to lurch forward. it seems that with any significant g's it goes off, but comes back on. makes me think there is a ground connection loose and the amount of force is causing it to recconect causing the light to go off. u guys got any ideas?

** update: now it does the same thing as originally when coming to a stop. stays off for about a sec then goes back on even when stopped.

I think that means you need brakes.
