Who has been to cancun? I need advice!
 

I'm leaving for Cancun on the 15th and will be there until the 23rd. I wanted to know for those who have been there, what are the good bars to actually go to? What else did you do when you were down there?

I'm not so much worried about the daily activities that I can do at my resort, just where the hot spots are for the night life.

senior frogs. its always good.

Senior Frogs was ok when we went there in January. It was off season so it was kind of dead. Dado and Coco Bongo are both popular clubs that are close to the main strip of hotels. I would also recommend Sphere, but it's further away from the hotels (near the old hotel area).

I would definitely recommend eating at The Seahorse on the main hotel strip. Dirtiest, nastiest hole in the wall place but they had really good, cheap Mexican food.

Also, for every cop you see down there, there's a drug dealer trying to move weed, ecstacy, and cocaine. They will say things like "Yo I got what you need right here, man."

also in mexico u can buy anything u want at the pharmacy without a prescription, even roids, in case ur wondering they do take insurance

Yeah so I have heard. I know it's going to be nothing like Punta Cana, which was soo nice and clean but also had a ****ty night life.

I'm actually staying at Grand oasis, which apparently is supposed to be a teenager, party type resort but from the reviews everyone is giving it, im almost scared. lol People's A/C's were broke, it was dirty, etc but from the pics and 4-star rating you would never imagine. I mean, it's one of the better resorts there, the pool is 1/4 mile long, 1/4 mile long of private beaches, and it still gets bad ratings from people who stayed there. For the most part, they say the food sucked and there were too many young drunk teens running around. lol

I will check out those clubs and dining places while im down there, also I will try to stay away from the drug dealers unless im trying to pick up on their selling techniques! SIKE! lol

ive never been there, but know people that have...they all say it was amazing, so im sure you will have a good time. have fun man.

damn man, i miss you by 3 days. Ill be down there on the 26th. i looked at the grand oasis but the reviews were **** so we found the riu palace which looked to be pretty good.

Don't get AIDS, it will ruin your vacation. That's all the advice I have.

I wanted the Grand Oasis because it was a 4 star hotel and a party hotel for kids. I did the whole Punta Cana thing this year and that resort was sooo dope, but there wasn't anything to do or any young people there.

i know its old school and kinda gay, but use the buddy system when your down there, lots of young dumb drunk americans get robbed and assulted by thugs and cops alike, especially in downtown Cancun. pretty much all the bars are pop off they have to be to bring in the tourist money

wow i was there from the 18th to the 25!

my friends just got back. they had to pay off 3 cops on 3 separate occasions to keep from getting locked up.

Have your fun at Senor Frogs and the other big clubs on the strip.....then go to Puerto Madero for a KILLER steak. IMHO its the best resteraunt in Cancun...along with the dining room at the Ritz but thats boring (esp if your younger...which i assume you are)

D im surprised at you, an out of control baller like yourself should be kicking it at the Burj al arab in dubai.

Sick hotel isnt it? Apparently there are far nicer hotels in Dubai these days - this one still gets the credit tho due to its unique shape and style.

heck yes, the arab world has some interesting things to offer if they can just stop blowing each other up. UAE has the right idea, wouldnt mind visiting sometime
