Next car...gsr or something of the likes??
So as the civic is for sale im looking for other alternatives to it. I am liking the Integra GSR for the performance and reliability, but im not liking the fact that the onse I find are already modded or riced, and the stock ones are not local. So its come to this...what do you suggest as a fun practical reliable car. Il have about 8-9k to spend. DO NOT SAY DSM. Thanks

im mainly looking for something thats fun to drive STOCK and then i can upgrade it if I chose to do so

99 civic si, base model rsx, vw gti, tiburon gt (dont knock it till you drive it), maybe a used acura cl but they might be a little pricey since acuras hold their value really well
i know your a neon guy i used to be back in the day, but maybe you can find a 2000-2003 R/T neon theres alot of aftermarket goodies for them but the car itself is kinda rare |

you could look into a nice gc style wrx, i wouldn't say integra b/c there are too many of them around they arent "different" anymore...mr2's are in that price range for a good one...you could look into one of those. they are quick, have a pretty good aftermarket, and "different" not too many people have them

Do'nt give up on the gsr if thats what you really want. Look for 4 door versions. They are much less commonly modded and look better anyway IMO. Even if you have to travel or wait to get one you want, it's better than hastily snatching something up as a comprimise. 93 93/93 |

why do you keep on putting 93 |
don't quote me on this yet,
some kid i just met said he has a type r with a blown trans in a shop that he might sell for like 4k. do you want me to find out if this is really legit? |

i almost dont beleive it, but he talks about it so much im getting curious... its in souderton at some shop he said.. might be cruisin up there today.

thanks for the advice guys..this will be my only car, so as much as I want RWD it has to fall out of the equation. TJF...that 99Si will get stolen SO fast it wont be funny...yea the 03 R/T is a great car, I love them but they are really hard to come about. keep em comin :)
|
why no rwd? i prefer rwd over fwd anytime....my car is fwd and i am not happy with fwd, sucks in the snow, doesn't hold the power to the ground well....especially b/c i make a good amount of torque....any awd cars that you would consider?

first off a gsr is just as likely to be stolen as a civic si...
second.. rwd is even worse then front, soo i see where he is coming from.. AWD is a nice choice but always more expensive... cleanneon, you have a decent amount of money to play around with.. just pick what you like... 92+preludes are nice.. |
