well it's been a while since i posted any pics of my car on here. the truth is, is that it has been under construction for a while and it is finally starting to come together. it's not done but it is 99% finished.

and now here is the new and improved jetta. keep in mind that this is a 60$ paint job that i did myself infront of my house. im no body man im only 18 yrs old.

now on to the real improvements. the last time you guys saw the engine it was sporting a small little t3 .42 .48 turbo. now it has a te 50 trim a new rebuilt tranny and a custom oil catch can i made out of a soap dispencer. hehe and yesterday i got board so i flipped the intercooler and made a custom air box for it. hope you like the new improvements.

well there you have it, my newly improved jetta. just remember i did this all on a small budget and im no fabricater, but everything does work and she's lookin good now. all comments and flames welcome.

looks good in white from the pics at least. what kinda paint did you use? that closeup is really what the texture looks like? i guess for a cheap paintjob just to clean it up it looks ok but if you use decent paint and wetsand that you'd be able to get a lot of the orange peel out of it.
other than that the little flag thing seems cool but does it get kinda messy by the wheel well? that kinda kills it.
ic looks good though and the box for it looks real functional.

nice. do you actually use the roof rack though? I see a ton of vw's with roof racks and they just use them for the looks, which is kind of, well, dumb. I like what you've done with the airbox.

I like it man! You should deffinitly go the dubbin route and put some widened steelies on with some stretched tires.

ditch the mirror flags, then it will be cool

ur paint job looks like the front of a fridge door, but that is a nice car, clean engine

ditch the flags, and roof rack..

imo i would have painted it black.. something about the molding that makes it weird.... use the white now as a primer and get some black.. honestly i think the flags would look better on a black shiney car.. maybe the roof rck would be ok then too.

id leave all that stuff on there, its like the perfect sleeper
