Some pics of my 4.6slow
 

I detailed the outside my mustang a couple days ago and now it is just sitting under a cover. I just put 70,000 miles on it this past weekend. Just ordered 3.73 gears and a rebuild kit for the rear. I'm going to be ordering a mid pipe and trans cooler next which should be soon. So once I get some decent weather in the 60s I should be in the 13s. Right now the best time is 14.01 and that is with catback and cai which isn't much. But here are some pics.

Colder air, better barometer and DA will do wonders for 1/4 mile times. You'd be suprised what "better air" can do for a car. I don't know if you were being sarcastic or just ignorant. Either way do some reading...its good for you.

Haha thanks for the comments on the rims and the car. The rims came stock but I might ditch them considering that one of the rims are bent kind of bad and two others are bent a little. Might go with the other stock GT wheels and paint them black. We will see though because I eventually will want welds for the drag radials I have, that currently have steelies.

And yes Italian Blaze if I get 60s weather wise I could hit 13s with the 3.73s probably. With 60s, altitude at about 0-300 and like not much humidity, my car was running 14.10s on just street tires. Full weight as well.

Oh and Bill my car was running like crap tonight and that guy had a 1000lbs on me too. My car does not do well with this warm hot weather. It runs like 14.60s and .70s in hot weather which it was probably about then. The damn computer electronics crap suck.

i got brand new headers for this car just sitting in my garage waiting for someone to make an offer on them. just puttin it out there.

Well I'm not in a rush to get the gears and the rebuild kit right now, considering I want the tuner to recalibrate the speedometer or whatever they call it. Heck I got the gears brand new and the rebuild kit for free so I'm just going to be patient on it. I'm sure they will get here soon though. And thanks everyone for telling me about your other cars beinng faster haha.

Any Lj, the money income was slow and basically had none and now it has picked up a decent amount. I can basically get all parts for the stang new for free or dirt cheap too, so parts will keep on coming in a little quicker. I will let you know when the '69 is done. Still at our chassis guy, which it has been there for a couple months. He still has a good amount to do with mounting stuff for the engine, plus there are little bits and pieces needed to be done to keep it certified for 7.50.
