Besides cars and bikes, I like to relax and just check out my fishtank, right now Im in the middle of creating a mini reef (trying anyway). Im interested to know if anyone else is into this also, if so post some pics.

Nice tank! I alway want to set one up, I just dont have the extra $$$ for it. I'll just stick to tropical fish. Ill-tempered Jack Dempsey's are my favorite.

Thats cool, im actually planning on getting a selt water tank very soon. What did you use as starter fish, and how often do you check the tank?

Thats awesome, I've done a saltwater tank before but now I am back to freshwater, it looks a lot more dull but it's so much easier to maintain.

How come you have to change the water all the time? Cant you just use some kind of filter or something that recirculates water into the tank?

A good starter fish to cycle a salt water tank are chromis, I still have 2 in my tank from a long time ago. If I were you I'd buy 4-7 of them and just let them do there thing. There about $3-$4 each. And salt water quality deteriorates very quickly because of waste from fish, etc so it is very imprortant to do water changes. I dont check my water too mch maybe once every 2 months, but I consistently change the water.
