I'm looking at a 1996 240sx s14 for $9000 with the following parts:
injen teghnology cold air intake
injen technology intercooler
ported and polished
everything aftermarket except transmission
1.5 way differential
ka motor
full exhaust 3" pipe to 3.5" tip apex'i
115,000 miles
too much to list

If that is on stock motor with that many miles I would second guess that price, seems high unless there are some hardcore mods all over the car I would say it is `high.

yeah seems realllllllly high for having an stock KA in there... there are a couple real nice heavily modded 240s for sale right now in the area... one of them is here: http://www.tristatetuners.com/forum/...ad.php?t=35638

im assuming its turboed from the intercooler. so a ka-t with 115,00 miles and the rest of the mods should go for about 5-6k depending on the condition.

if it's n/a theres no real point in the intercooler and it's probably worth about 3-4k tops

it is in really good condition but i didnt think it is worth 9k, the motor is really clean, and i think he meant he'd give me an intercooler b/c it is not turbo and i didnt see one. He said if i wanted to buy it with the stock rims and tires instead of with the hp racing rims and nitto tires on there now that he'd give it tom for around 7k this coming winter. thanks to the link for the other s14 but would much rather get a 1996 or a silvia s15 which wont happen because there way to much especially after tokyo drift came out so now i'm looking for a 96' s14 but if anyone knows of any good deals on an s14 or s15 post the link if not i'll try to talk this guy down a few k

S15s don't exist in the US. 7k is still high.

That hurt to read. And the guy that is selling the car is a joke. I say its to much, you need to post a more detailed parts list rather than "everything aftermarket except transmission "

have you checked 240sxforums.com...? i wouldnt pay more then 6500 for that car as you listed it, if its in top notch shape. Where are you from? philly? dirty jerse? and what type of money are you trying to spend?

But try autotrader or websites like that.. im not saying i agree with any of the prices i have seen on there cuz some of them are crazy. But keep looking and you will find a good deal.

i was planning on doing an rb swap cuz i havn't seen to many of those in 240's

So are twin turbo Supras, but those were actually sold here.
Wise up and realize the closest thing to an legal S15 in this country under $20k is an s13/14 with an s15 front clip.

thats what i figured i would wind up doing i just thought i might as well ask cuz i could wind up finding one, probably won't but whatever

I looked it up on KBB for ya. You said it is in very good condition so based off of the excellent quote I would say he is asking twice what the vehicle is worth. Mods do not make the resale value of a car go up.
