I'm asking myself this same question, unless he was going for that ugly hdr effect or using a very small aperture but it didn't look like he was, judging by his pictures.

hehehe I love how Meeka makes the first cut for pics and my car doesn't, cracks me up silly pup! oooh and nice pics!! and by the way no stealin of my import pup

Even in broad daylight pictures will still be sharper with a tripod especially when using a telephoto lens. I know at one point there was a line of cars waiting to take pics in that spot so Barry just left the camera on the tripod took ten or so shots of a car and then pulled the next one around, it was like an assmebly line.
