Probably meant the car was an auto so he wasn't able to hold the revs and dump the clutch for a better launch.

And just by the timing of the shifts it sounded like they were running 13's.

Probably a stock Supra. Definitely a nice Escort. :supz:

I think its a Celica.

Definately not an MKIII or MKIV Supra. If it was the older than an MKIII it wouldn't have an airbag. It also looked like a small dash. My guess is Early-90's Celica.

Not sure a Celica can run that fast with a quiet exhaust. If it were a Celica it would have had to sound more like the Escort.

Not being a dick but watch the video the dash looks nothing liek what u just showed... watch them side by side no sloped dash!!!

look at the passenger airbag compartment, considering thats pretty much the only indication as to what car this might be

I don't mean to argue but when they are about to turn around u can see the center and there is no sloped area like a supra

no, understand, I know you're not trying to argue, but I went back and double check the video to see if it could have been misreported by the guy who took the video.

I agree with you about the sloped dash, but the video is also very dark, the only identifying marks are the passenger airbag, find me another car that has an airbag like that.

I used to own a supra. I've followed every iteration of them, they're my forbidden fruit if you will. I'm pretty sure it's authentic.

Better to watch the beginning. You see more of the dash that way. There really wasn't much to see when he turns before they get into the escort.
