9 Ball’s new (functional) exterior mod.

The sun was setting so lighting conditions really weren’t that good. But you can see a glimpse of what this would look like in person. I’ll take better pics another day. A few teaser pics however…

Thanks man. But I had to swallow my pride and cut costs this time… the diffuser is fiberglass, not carbon fiber. **Gasps**

But when it’s rolling on the highway you can’t tell the difference.

peteyturbo 04-24-2007 01:25 PM

Like the 10 ounces make a difference anyway...Looks very nice..Mabye I will pick one up someday..

I love it. Big fat diffusers are one of my favorite exterior parts, good stuff.

Bastard!! I want that soooo bad...except in carbon. ;)

Obioban 04-24-2007 08:13 PM

Dude, that's awesome. I'd do bad things for a functional diffuser

jjm4life 04-24-2007 09:54 PM

hey i remember meeting you a few weeks ago in KOP. diffuser looks sweet on white. makes me want one even more

( i was the white 05 that got stolen by the valet if you remember talking to me)

Well, you know me. I try and keep it “baller” as much as possible. This thing does make you feel a bit more glamorous.

I ordered it at the end of February I believe. It was on back order, however, it arrived the first week in April so I didn’t wait that long. A nice surprise.

I’m thinking about changing the front bumper now to something that allows for a front diffuser. I’ve been eying up a couple of front bumper/diffuser combinations.

Yes I remember you. And remember what I said to you… “Get a daily driver!” I live in the city, but 90% of the time my car is parked outside the city.

As for the performance you don’t notice it right away, however, the first day I realized I was unconsciously entering turns several miles per hour faster than I normally would. The car also feels much smoother on the highway - acceleration is also smoother and the rear end more firmly planted. The faster you go the more you feel the affects. It feels almost more (dare I say) German at high speeds.

james_ls 04-25-2007 12:25 PM

Looks sick dude.

Is it just black fiberglass or fiberglass with a small carbon overlay?

CHAOS 04-25-2007 12:28 PM
