Looks bald

I didn't realize that all of those have roof racks until this thread...how unobservant am I?!

DropTopChevy 04-04-2007 10:40 AM

Yeah some wagons looks better without the rack and yours does

Thanks everyone, I've had two people on another forum tell me they don't like it.
Not only does it look bald but compared to other cars at my job, it looks so much smaller now.

I'm still undecided as to whether or not I like it it bald or better with the roof rack. The protege to me is one of those cars that a roof rack fits very well on IMO, but then again I am a fan of the clean and simple look.

I just don't know, I guess you could say I am a little biased towards roof racks since I work at a Bike shop and ride a lot, I'm kind of used to looking at them.

Either way I think it would look even better with a nice drop, nothing crazy just eliminate some of the tire gap.

The lowering springs are next on the list, will be ordered this week. As for the rack I can always put it back on when I need it. I do agree I love the look of the rack on this car, just wanted to see how it would look like without it. It's a half and half , I like the rack on, but I also like it off. Expect to see alot of pics with it on and off:mrgreen:
