Anyone know someone who works for the njdmv?

my liscense expires at the end of this month and jersey has moved to this new bs "tamperproof" liscense which i would have to be there in person to get. now, my question is: since im outside the continental us on orders can i just give them my orders when i return and get it renewed like normal or am i SOL? i really dont want to go through the whole test bs all over again because i was deployed

Don't Sweat it. You will have 14 days upon your return to the states to renew it, along with your registration. It is a good idea to have a valid license, by law in NJ you don't need to renew it until 14 days after discharge from the military.

Search through the NJ DMV's webpage, there is tons of info for us in their! I have had the same PA License that expired in 2000. I haven't renewed it because I have been handing the cops both of my ID's and have always had a good outcome from this:lol:
