Are you guys kidding? It isn't that big of a deal that he's gone...he is very injury prone..his attitude sucks balls and think about it he only caught 35 passes. Brown, baskek, johnson and crew can handle themselves

rebuilding what??? they don't need rebuilding years, they are a solid team now. I don't know why you keep saying rebuilding years. They're not going to waste 2-3 years at Donovan's age, now. cmon.

yeah, but the problem is.. your veteran leader is now Reggie Brown, and hes in his 3rd year. The eagles wide receiver crew is young, they really need a wiser veteran guy in there.

Ronin Tactical 03-12-2007 01:52 PM

The Eagles have made some insane moves this year - it's not like they could have kept Garcia, but didn't even give him a public "thank you" for salvaging a completely lost season. That was just rude, and lost the organization a lot of respect in the league.

What do you expect, though, from a team that hasn't won a league championship for 47 years? Not like they have a steady legacy of great decisions, plus there's the "fans".....who bring negativity onto the city like the Wrath of God.

Agreed, I don't think after what Andy Reid went through with his kids, that he wanted a pot smoker on his team.

Ronin Tactical 03-12-2007 02:03 PM

I wonder what will come of that in the larger picture....sure, the kids were "grown", but they were also living at home...back in the day, a coach or teacher would have lost his job, simply from the thought that the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree, and if the guy can't properly supervise his own family, how can he supervise 52 pro players?

Nors 03-12-2007 02:38 PM

I'm also still waiting to see what pans out from his sons' situation.

I dont think anyting.. you probably wont hear much on the news about them any more. andy reid will be the coach, and they'll be fine. but seriously, you know when andy heard that he failed the test, he had to of said i dont want him back, and i garuntee that stems from what happened to his kids.
