BACK ON!: Huge Meet - April 29th - Island Beach State Park, NJ - Subarus, Evos, etc

Its finally happened Uncle Lewie and The Docta have put there meet skills together to come up with one super meet. We want this meet to be big so tell everyone you know. We want to get 100 Cars plus. We are holding it at a venue where we will not be bothered. No cops and no mall security to tell yell at us. The meet is being held at Sandy Hook National park in New Jersey. Most of you know this place. Uncle lewie had a meet here 3 months ago with over 100 cars and no problems. We will meet there for a few hours then go for a cruise through the surrounding area to look at the scenes. We would like to keep this a mainly Subaru EVO and RX event a few other cars are fine but we don’t need everyone and there uncles yugo there.

If you remember, i Hosted a meet a few months ago which was 200 cars + on a cold rainy night, and i would like to see a better turn out again!!!!!!

yea i think you should open it to all cars or jus have another one with everyone you can fit in there welcome.
100+ subarus would be cool to see but i bet at least 80 of them would be blue haha. Definetly set up another meet with all welcome, im sure a ton of cars would come if they knew we wouldnt be chased and have a lot of parking.

The Docta does not have a subaru, but around our area in NJ we have a lot of subie meets. The docta through these meets has made friends with many subie drivers, so we accept him as one of our own, :lol:
We would like to open up this meet to all cars, but we cant. We do not have the room in this lot to hold all the cars that would show up. Last time we were lucky all the subaru's fit on one side. We opened it up to Subies and Evo's this time, because we did have about 5-6 Evo's show up and they were cool with the meet and all.
Sorry, next meet we might search for a bigger lot.

LoL, I understand on only wanting a subaru meet. I look forward to having a multi car meet in the future though and hopefully it won't be cold and raining like last time. :wink:

well since my car is awd and turbo with wicked sweet brembo's is it cool if 1 vovlo shows up??? i wont mess any pics up by parking in the middle or anything

now i know i'm gonna get blamed for this, but....if this is going to be only subaru you should have it on their forums or at the very least stated that in the damn title! personally i dont agree with posting info for car specific meets on a muli car forum, but w/e

the problem is, the parking lot is only so big

and i plan to have another meet later in the summer for all cars

wow man! i am honestly surprise to get that response but its a good one. i understand that most places can hold so many cars. it just seems that everytime i see an event on here its subaru only or just subaru and evo, but at least you are putting forth the effort to include everyone in the future. good job! if/when you have another meet that i'm welcome to bring the Tuscani i'll def be there

i guess im out to considering that there no large group of R's trolling the area, i like to consider my car the older more mature sti/evo you could even think of me as the crazy grandpa that can still somewhat hang with the younger kids hahahha

it is a subaru meet, they're just spreading the word on a variety of forums, including this one.
if other people want to come check it out its a free country, just be respectful and try to find a place to park thats not right in the center of the action, just be nice and give the subies priority for the day. if you want to have a mazda or honda only meet thats cool i'd want to come check it out, but i'd ride with a friend or stash my car in the corner or something.
