update:

So I made a list of all the gun ranges in my surrounding area & took a field trip today to check them all out. until now I have only gone to classic pistol in southampton.

I have come to the realization that gun ranges are like pool halls & bowling alleys: there are state-of-the-art ones, half decent ones, and the dirty hole in the wall of a range. classic is by far the nicest range in the area. simply the fact that its heated & air conditioned is a BIG plus, especially in the winter. other places were ok at best, with the lowest of them all having no target retrieval system whatsoever - and lit like it was a closet.
I have no problem shooting in theese places, but given that this meet is gonna be in the near future IE: still cold out, I think its best to have it at classic, even if the price is a bit higher. post your coments on this decision. I welcome everyones imput.

I might be down
ASP 9mm

poolmike 02-27-2007 10:36 PM

I might be interested in going. Kind of embarrassing, but I haven't fired a weapon in the past 17 years. I keep thinking about going to CP for some stress relief...this could be the perfect time.

Definite.
I've witnessed tri-pod mounted, full auto's there. Complete with tracer rounds. Gave those guys some room when they left.
Not too much they won't let you shoot.

Your not gonna find a more comfortable joint than CP.
