Was on 95 today just going about my business driving to the poolhall at about 70, when a tiburon comes flying up my side and just drives next to me looking at my car n ****. Was silver with black rims, black gas door, 2 mufflers, tint. Anyway, I gun it and he starts following me...eventually i slow down to do a little race from a roll...im in 2nd doing 40, and this guy just doesnt go around me...then he flies out and we both gun it...of course him being the more powerful car (i assume v6 from the exhaust), he pulls on me, but nothing crazy...now I have nothing against the car, because I think it was very clean and well done. However, if the driver is reading this, there is a difference between good sportsmanship, and flipping someone off because they have a slower car. Anyone know who this guy is because I can accept a defeat, but when someone has to be an ass about it, it just makes them the loser.

On a side note, ive decided to retire the civic. This now puts it in the strict daily driven category. No more speeding, no more WOT, nothing. Maybe im paranoid, but im starting to hear noises from the motor, etc. gas milage is way down, and my friend timed with a stopwatch, i did 0-60 in 9.22 seconds (give or take a little). This car is slow, and I dont have the money, or patience to tinker with it.

I could be wrong but I think I recall you being the kid who was "tipping" police off to our racing spots in the area. And claimed that street racing was not only stupid but dangerous, I could be thinking of somone else though.

dude, you drive a 2001 lx civic with a 1.6L single cam. its a terrible chassis to even 'tinker' with. since your hearing noises from the engine, maybe you shouldn't be beating it. if i were you id sell it for an older model civic (if you want to stay within hondas) and get a turbo kit.

Please dont give him an idea for another car to ruin. Heres an idea. Buy a Prius, get a tax cut and save money. With that extra money and 40+mpg, drive far far away.

I call BS...Why would a tib even look over at you to race? You drive a stock civic. My grandmom has the same car?

I guess the shocker offender the limp wristed driver? I duno lol I didnt exactly roll down my window and chat with him on the freeway. This guy couldnt even drive. He was cutting between people very roughly, constantly hard on the brakes and accelerator, while i smoothly cruise between everyone. Whatever, im tired of the game. Lot of douchebags in this field that make it less enjoyable..you all know who you are. Then there are those who have rich parents who buy **** for them...they dont bother me as much. And then there are the select few plain assholes who cant help but run their mouths about how other people are stupid and poor, and dictate to others what they should do, actualy thinking that the people care.
