Update about my car

So if anybody remembers..in december my car got sashed in by a flying piece of exploded tire retread on 476. It came from the oposite side of the highway and the truck never stopped.
Anyway its finally in the shop getting repaired...should be done by the weekend, and a week or so ago I get a call from this guy from encompass insurance company, apperantly when that truck went in for service they noticed the tire being messed up, ran a check, and then the police sent my file to them.
So they have accepted responsibility for the accident and are paying for my car repairs and my rental car..hot damn something actually went right for a change.

wow, thats great! I wonder though, did the driver actually know that the tire came off at a certain point and struck a car, or did they just take responsibility as to not open a big legal battle?

I was thinking that. If it was one of the inner tires he may not of realized that the re-tread had flown off

Wow one of the FEW times I've ever heard of a freak accident like that working out correctly for the "normal" person.

Good deal man!
