ive been thinking about getting a membership to the l.a fitness off 15th street in allentown.. does anyone go their? if so whats their rate

Is that the new place? I heard it gets really busy. I guess it depends on what time you have to go there. I belong to golds, and I can go to any of the gyms in the valley. This time of year is usually busier than the rest, its starting to thin out now though.

ya its that new gym it looks pretty big from 22.. how much does golds charge and whats it like

I pay 27 a month. I signed up a year ago, Im not sure what it is now. I usually go to the one on lehigh st, and some of the equip is getting old. There is a new one up near the mall that I haven't been to yet, but some friends have been there and they say its really nice.

i would wait till march to go in
they won't budge on pricing since its right around new years.
and if you haggle enough you can get around 35 bucks a month for a membership

go to 24/7 fitness, they have gyms in trexlertown and up by daniel's bmw that you can use.

ya i work at giant right their in trexlertown once a week.. what do they charge it looks pretty small

la fitness has about a dozen locations in the tristate area alone

those are cheap membership cost, i pay 49.00 a month at the aquatic fitness club, its pretty bad ass in there though never too crowded, brand new equipment.

i forgot to add the only downside to LA fitness is the crowd, and the lack of really heavy dumbbells
my gym stops at 125 lbs dumbbells and I've been told they cannot have heavier ones due to insurance reasons :o

wait so if i wait till march it will be cheaper.. i didnt know you could negotiate gym payments lol

just make sure to take the tour, then keep telling them its too high of a payment, and proceed to "walk out"

thats how i got mine from 45/month to 35/month

anybody on here use Planet Fitness? The reason I'm asking is I need to find a gym that has facilities both around Levittown/ Langhorne area and Lancaster. Which it fits the bill perfectly, not to mention it's only 15-20 a month out my way

i go the one at Neshaminy and it's something like $30 a month, def. worth it imo as long as you go

i forgot to mention with my aquatic fitness center membership i get a few sessions with my trainer included at no added cost

some people don't want another guy checking them out while they work out:bigeek:

hahahaha , i actually like it !!!!! because i never been to the gym before so it actually helps me get my routine down.
