Window Tinting
 
Hey, do you guys do window tinting?

I need a quote on removing old tint (prolly 15+ years old) and applying new tint, 15-20%

I'm like 3 miles away, car is a Grand National...thanks guys :D

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, we do tinting here. Actually, we sub the job out and have a mobile unit come to the shop to do it. $180 to tint the car. To scrape the tint is going to be an additional $50-$60 depending on how bad it it. Since you said it was about 15+ years old, if it is caked on there the only way to get it off is to scrape it which will eliminate your rear defroster if it is caked bad. Can do it Mondays, Wednesday's or Thursdays. Let me know if you are interested.

you don't need to eliminate the rear defroster to removeth tint...

You will have to remove it if the tint is caked on since the customer has had the tint baked on for 15+ years. Chances are that the tint has sunken below the defroster lines on the rear glass.
