Is Forza 2 worth getting an x-box 360 for?
I've been a playstation fan for some years now mainly for Gran Turismo series. But i've played them all and completed them all so I need a new game. None of the other driving games that playstation2 has to offer are appealing to me since they aren't a simulation type game. So i'm wondering if buying an x-box 360 for forza2 is worth it? I bought playstation 2 for GT3 so I'm wondering if the x-box is worth it. What other "great" games are out there for it?

Oh and I probably will be getting a pretty decent 50" hi-def plasma screen in the near future.

(I'm not interested in the PS3 or the Wii)

you could chip your console and get battlegear ;)

grimm 02-15-2007 02:09 PM

Loved forza for the xbox, need to get a 360 soon.

doug 02-15-2007 03:36 PM

360+HD is absolute godsend. Definitely worth the money.. and Gears of War is the greatest online shooting game ever.

i have a 360 so im going to just rent the game before i buy it.

whitezenki 02-15-2007 03:42 PM

the halo series, and gears of war are two games alone that justify getting a 360

Omar_MSP 02-15-2007 04:01 PM

yes its def worth picking up. i can't wait to play it. specially on my new hdtv.

doug 02-15-2007 04:08 PM

btw, im playing on a 50 inch plasma... and its amazing. just be careful, dont pause the game or keep a constant screen for a long time, or you'll burn the picture into the plasma screen.

the 360 dims after 2 mins of no activity. so it won't burn an image on your screen.

Trust me I know all about plasma burn in. I work for an Audio Visual design firm and our company has had to replace many clients screens.

360 >*

I was a PS fanboy up until this generation. I made the switch and I am damn glad I did it. Get a 360 for games like Gears, Lost Planet, R6:Vegas, GRAW2, Forza 2, Crackdown, Halo 3. You won't be dissappointed.

Broken5hift 02-15-2007 04:19 PM

360 is just awesome. i hated xbox for the longest time, i still do. but there games are the best. even though im on my second 360 :(

Yeah.. but score boards and ammo boxes stay up during the game.. that's what you have to worry about.

everyone i know who bought a 360 has had to send theirs to microsoft for a replacement box. they fixed the problem for the newer units but for people like me who bought them a year ago or earlier we are all pretty much all on our second box at least. a few of my friends are on their 3rd, 4th.
