Who has a trailer and wants to make some $$

I'm curious to see what someone would charge to trailer my car to Harrisburg on Friday. I'm not 100% sure yet, but it's in the back of my head of getting my car trailered there because of the snow. I would be able to drive it home myself, so it would be a 1 way, 2 hr trip.

1. Could my car even get on a trailer or is it to low?
2. How much would you charge me?

haha, I guess I don't want to ruin the fresh paint seeing as I still have to go pick up the car from the paint shop tomorrow.

It would be wayyyyy to low D.

whitezenki 02-14-2007 02:28 AM

you would have to take your kit off to even think about gettin that on a trailer

you could get it up on a trailer. I use a pair of long 2x4s to my bimmer up on my trailer without touching anything, same for my galant.

the question is: how much are you willing to pay?

I would gladly help a forum member locally for gas money, but 2 hrs is too much. Sorry.

I would do it and it should have no problem making it in my enclosed trailer but I am leaving friday morning to go snowmobiling up in NY for the weekend. If it was any other weekend I would be down.

I can rent a trailer and do it myself for way less than $500. haha Comon now....

rocco 02-14-2007 03:01 PM

maybe you can rent something

D Money 02-14-2007 03:17 PM

Haha, I leave in two days, doubt there is time for that.

I could use my dads truck but ill probably crash it with the trailer on it, that thing is HUGE.

whitezenki 02-14-2007 03:31 PM

you could rent a trailer tommo if u wanted, at least i have done it on a days notice before...

uhaul ftw

TrboChicsRock 02-14-2007 03:37 PM

I think last time I had to rent a trailer from Uhaul it was around $80.

D Money 02-14-2007 03:44 PM

$80 is cheap, im about to look into that or something. Is my car too low for a uhaul trailer?

TTsupra911 02-14-2007 03:51 PM

more then likely you'll just have to make the ramps longer

1988 Olds 02-14-2007 05:10 PM

LOL I know D. I just figured you wouldn't be able to drive a truck and trailer honestly. Almost any trailer you find is going to be to low, but my dad puts a dragster in ours and the ramp is extra long.

D Money 02-14-2007 05:20 PM

haha, but for real, what would you charge me?
