Retro + SC wheels + Habi = Sexy Time!

So I have been trying to get my retro done for a good month now and everything was going well, but then Fedex Fd some **** up. The headlights that we going to be retro for me were all Fd up. So, long story short, Bjorn from CustomLightz gave me a call and told me that if I could come down on Friday (yesterday), he could have my retro done in about 4 hours and have me on my way home. He told me he had another set of civic reflectors laying around and he could have my projectors in the reflectors before I got there so all he would have to do is pop open my headlights, take out my reflectors, and put the new ones in. I was happy as **** and decided that I would make the 4.5 hour drive on a Friday with my gf. We got down there around 4ish, met Bjorn, then went to the shop. Now I got to see where the magic happens. We took out my headlights and then went inside to start popping those bitches open. Bjorn was very helpful explaining everything to me and we all had a fun time laughing about ****. I decided that I wanted to make the amber in the turn signals a little darker, so they painted the chrome behind the amber low-gloss black and it really set it off. We had everything back together ready to start installing the harness and then Bjorn noticed a little piece of yellow glass, from one of my drls that broke, inside my headlight. I told him it was no big deal, but he insisted that he open the headlights again to get it out. THAT right there showed me their attention to detail and that they don't want to put something on someone's car that doesn't look amazing. So then we went to start the harness on the car in the dark, in 25 degreee weather. Bjorn did an amazing job using zip ties and hiding all the wires. He made sure everything was perfect. Then we finally got the headlights installed. I was amazed. After looking at them for a little while, Bjorn said we need to go aim them. We drove around for about a half hour while stopping whenever we could to adjust the beam. Finally, we were done. Everything was perfect and the cutoff was amazing. I have to give mad props to everyone at CustomLightz, but mainly Bjorn for doing all this for me. He was freezing his ass off installing some lights on my car so that I would be happy AND he didn't get bothered or anything. That is true customer service right there. Well enough babbling, here are the pics.

SPARK NOTES: Drove 9 hours all together to get retro, Bjorn and CustomLightz FTMFW, Now have the hottest habi!

Is it just me or did I see this exact post on HT or somewhere else maybe? Either way it looks good, it just needs the HFP front under spoiler and a nice drop IMO. The retro looks great though. Definitely one of the nicest Habi's out there.

Haha yea I posted it on HT. I whore my car out. The wheels are from an 07 Element SC and they are heavy as ****. They probably look "pushed out" in the front because the rear have negative camber stock. I am contemplating the HFP kit right and the drop, I need to make up my damn mind on what coils to get. Thanks for all the compliments.

sweet habi, i like the s/c wheels, but i figured they'd be really heavy. what bulbs do you have in your high beams? luminex?

FASTERTHANU 02-12-2007 11:35 PM

The front of it looks good, but the rest of the car sucks.

If I were you I would go with the Function/Form Type II coilovers. I have been doing research on PG's and DC5's recently and thats the route I would go unless you have the extra money to go with some Teins.

But for the best cost to performance I say go with the Function/Form Type II's

Yea the wheels are heavy as F*ck. The bulbs are luminics Krypton series. They are amazing.

dt98gsr: I was looking at those F&F ones. Right now I don't know what to get. There are some BuddyClub ones stuck in customs and I have the cash for the Flex, but don't really want those anymore. I am also thinking about the Megans. I have S-techs in my closet also. I need to make up my damn mind already haha.

I read a review for the Function/Form's today on NWP4life.com. The link to their review is right on the homepage. Its not for an FG application, but I thought it was pretty interesting.
