Parents aren't letting me buy an NSX WTF?!

My parents and I went to look at an NSX today and they forbide me to buy it because it's so low to the ground and how the hood slopes down etc etc. This is bullsh*t. It's not even like they are paying for it. I think it's because my dad and his ferrari feel threatened by the "japanese ferrari"

TROLL 02-07-2007 04:39 AM

sounds a little hypocritical for them to not support buying a car that is in the same category as what they own already. how exactly can they say no though?

yellow2000S/R 02-07-2007 04:46 AM

Your 21... are you seriously going to let your parents rule what cars you can / can not buy? Its your money... use it as you please... Thats how I see it.

The only reason why I can afford all these cars and toys is because I work for my dad, one wrong move and I take a major paycut

Oh... well you could look at it this way... If you father is running his business correctly and if you wanted to be an ass you could still get the car... If he cuts your pay or "fires" you because of that you can seek legal actions... LOL

I dont know what to say... ugh... sucks man.

not really, your sti probably cost more

ITSTOCK 02-07-2007 10:17 AM

Well, that should just give you more of a reason to get a job so that you can buy your own toys. Parents can't say anything when it's your money that you made.

XxaltezzaxX 02-07-2007 10:20 AM

Punch them in the face..........

twistedlanes 02-07-2007 10:23 AM

unless you live under their roof.

MuddyREX 02-07-2007 10:48 AM

Waaaaah. Mommy and Daddy won't let me buy an NSX. Listen to yourself, you already have an S2K and an M3.

Why dom't you tell me all about how your life sucks.

Tiny 02-07-2007 10:50 AM

Okay, so I laugh at kids that tell me that they own a $30,000+ STI and they don't even have a career yet, but because you "work" for your Dad that makes it your money?

****, I used to work for my Dad all the time. I cleaned the house, took out the garbage, did home improvement projects, but if I would have told him that was my own money because I worked for it and I should have a new car, he would have laughed at me until he spewed milk out of his nose.

What did you think people were going to say to you about this thread anyway? Are you really that wierd like those kids on MTV that throw a hissy fit because the new Porsche the just got as a present is the wrong color? Hahahaha.

That's probably an issue as well. He lives under their roof (not that their is anything wrong with that), and all of his cars are on their insurance. He could bring the NSX home (with his money), but then his parents could easily drop his cars off of their insurance policy. If people think the insurance for a young kind on an STI is bad, I would hate to see the monthly insurance payment for an S2000, M3, and NSX for a 21 year old!
