Winter Exterior Maintenence
Well my taurus has been getting driven quite frequently and has been taking a beating from the elements. I haven't washed it since like august or september and it needs a wash BADLY [a friend of mine drew a penis in the muck on my trunk and you can still see it if you look at it just right]
However it's been getting really cold here and even snowing and i don't want to have to worry about getting it dirty again the next day [at least not filthy] or having the water and **** freeze on my car. What should I do to get my car clean. And will a regular drive through car wash be able to get the dirt off of the body? |
I use the DIY ones with the powerwasher nozzle and foamy brush for a quick winter cleaning.
Also, the drive through ones with the undercarrage cleaning are great. You really gotta winterize the paint, throw a few coats of polish (NXT wax is nice)and pure carnuba wax (Megs tech wax)on there, before winter even sets in. For a quick wax and clean, nothing works better than megs cleaner wax. |
do they usually sell the wax in the places...i live near a DIY/Drivethrough one and I don't mind doing it all at once before heading out to school

You can pick up the waxes at schlep-boyz, autozone, or advanced.
I wouldn't recomend trying to wax you car in the cold, it'll take forever for the wax to setup. |
