Toss up between a Bug eye Impreza and POSSIBLY a peanut eye or a 99 Audi A4 Quattro six cylinder with 71k miles leather interior sunroof and manual tranny, Or a 01 BMW 325 Xi ... Pro's and cons.. Im leaning more toward the subie but for some weird reason I ahve ALWAYS wanted a german car even tho i HATE how everything is run off of vacum... and Definately always wanted a BMW.. What sucks is the Bimmer is automatic, But its still AWD. Opinions or suggestions?

I would get the Audi or the bug eye.....Is it a 2.5RS, or a different motor?

I'd go for the bmw, sucks that its auto but its still a bmw..lol. Gl either way you go!

Subie or Quattro

The Bug eye I have the choice between a WRX or a 2.5 Rs..Most ikely gonna come down to color on that one..

See its a tough decision.. Yeah its a BMW and I have always wanted one.. But I break automatic cars...All 3 are nice choices.. Subie is definately in.. I need pro's and cons on the Bmw and the audi.. Then I can narrow it dwon.Hopefully...lol

This is a loan I am paying . I dont have cash for this car or I WOULD pay it upright..And I am not into doing the stupid **** I did as a highschooler. But I have enough for payments and its good to build credit..Which is what I want so I can get a house of my own.. And I hate honda's now.. So an acura/ honda is COMPLETELY out of the question.( not dissing the Type S colleen, its jsut not my bag of apples)

the way i see it is like this. I love my subie, its loud, fast and awesome.

But then i get in my sisters jetta with its silver paint, blue gauges, leather heated seats and a sun roof and i think ......damn this is niiiice.

I'm not going against any rules, im just suggesting some possible future vehicles for Mrs. Ugotschooledbyagirl.

I'd say the Audi.

Overall nice car...look good...comfortable...not as tempting to mod the living hell out of.

Something you can DRIVE and not have to worry about.

Under normal circumstances I'd say BMW but since it is automatic I have reservations about it, also it's an 01.

Depending on the build date the 01 either has the sluggish steering or the good steering which came on later E46 models. Now, onto the point of it being an automatic transmission. If you go onto the bmw forums you will see that there are a decent amount of people that have problems with their auto transmissions, to the point where most get new transmissions. Another reason I do not feel the 325xi is a good choice is because bmw makes a very clunky awd system. Finally I believe it to have insufficient horsepower for the weight and awd system.

Moving onto the Audi. The transmissions do get to be problematic as well but unlike the BMW the Audi manual transmissions are affected but not until you get over 100k miles if the car was taken car of. Depending on your budget alotted for the car I recommend a B6 A4 post 2004 as they have the new 6 speed transmissions.

Finally the Subaru. Not much I can say about them, they are proven and it seems that they can go many miles with few problems if any.

In my personal opinion I would try and find a 2002 BMW 330ci, 5 speed fully loaded (minus the premium package, I hate the woodtrim) with a decent amount of miles and get snow tires for the winter. I found one 3 months ago for my friend and it was 18.5k with 55k miles. But out of all the cars that you have mentioned above I would get the subaru, "peanut eyes" if at all possible.

If you are talking about the 06/07.. I dont like it.. Its fugly to me..
