Cobb Rear Sway = POS

I'm in the middle of installing this POS and it a ****ing dumb design. They have mounting brackets for the bushings and the bolts don't even fit through the bracket. The holes don't line up.

THIS THING SUCKS.

Are you sure. My older brother installed them on my car and I don't he ran into any problems.

Did you eventually get them on?

bkotzman00 01-15-2007 11:28 AM

I have never heard anything bad about them, did you get the right year

Jeffros Spec V 01-15-2007 12:25 PM

I got it on. It was just a pain in the ass. Just seemed like a dumb design with the size of the holes in the brackets and the size of the bolts.

wrxcelration 01-16-2007 01:51 PM

your sure you didnt get the sti bar?

Renegade_ 01-16-2007 01:55 PM

Yeah, like my dumbass self. Everything will line up, the endlinks will be about 1 endlink width off however

Jeffros Spec V 01-16-2007 09:30 PM

Nah, we got it all hooked up. Everything is well.

TROLL 01-16-2007 10:33 PM

so the swaybar is perfect, the problem was a different element involved in the install?

TheDon427 01-18-2007 01:48 AM

I haven't heard anything bad about them either.

I wouldn't consider it perfect. The dumb allen key bolts are retarded and make it very hard to install.

wrxcelration 03-26-2007 09:46 PM

ill be gettin the cobb set when i get my tax refund, any suggestions for install and what endlinks did you use? Any squeeks?

Uberu 03-26-2007 09:55 PM

I have a few pointers for you: Do it in warmer weather because Jeff and I were freaking freezing which didn't help the situation. I used perrin rear endlinks which i bought from Troll but the one bolt fell off and i still haven't bought new bushings and spacers so i put my stock endlinks on. Use lube

TROLL 03-26-2007 09:57 PM

i've got a perrin rsb for sale if you're looking for one, and i dont have any perrin endlinks but i would recommend them as well.
