Is it just me or is today's news pretty unusual?
PlayStation murder case plagued by paperwork error I hope this thing gets cleared up within the next day or two. It would suck to have a the cop get away scot free. Although the victim was holding a PS3 controller and the cop has been fired. But, there should at least be an indictment! Iran's leader: 'Zionist regime will soon be wiped out' Wouldn't be a big deal if he hadn't replaced the word "should" with the word "will be." Government resists altering money for blind people I hate handicapped people who want to be catered to. Caribbean islands illegally sold, Nicaragua says To sell something you first have to either buy it or steal it. Buying is pretty much legal and stealing is always illegal. So, these guys basically stole an entire island. Those are some smart theives. Or maybe they're just really strong. Lol |
didnt some kid get shot today in school too?
|
yea he shot himself with a rifle.

yeah, odd indeed. on a side note, oprah wasnt invited to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding and insiders are asking why.
|
yea, man screw all that other stuff. why did Tom-Kat snub Oprah??
|
wow. every single reply was so off topic.
GUYS an island got stolen, a cop shot a guy for stealing a PS3, blinds are selfish bastards, and WWIII IS IMPENDING!!! I'm going outside to dig myself a bomb-shelter. |
hahahahaha, ok youre right.
As far as the blind people, I find the idea of altering money so blind citizens can define the values of each bill absolutely ridiculous when there are other devices that can be utilized to do it for them. Some cop shot a kid for stealing a PS3 and got lucky because someone "checked the wrong box". Sounds kinda fishy to me but I didnt read the article the whole way thru. As far as the other things, I didnt read them, Im too tired to get political but Im sure WWIII is a possibility while Bush is still in office so when youre done building your bomb shelter, I will give you directions to my house. |

that was a highly educated and politically informed response. So does that mean you wont build me a bomb shelter? maybe in 2010? |
Normally i would get involved in this just because its fun to battle Potenza but i am tired so maybe later....

Ok, yea...today is really odd in the news.
They found the body of a partially dressed woman in Mt Laurel about 2 miles from where I work. And some lady was abducted from Echelon Mall last night, robbed and driven to Hammonton, where she stole the car they were driving and escaped. WTF is goin on?!?! |

You want the government to change the US currency just so that a small group of people can have a little bit more convenience?? Ok, so lets say we had bills differ in sizes that denotated their value. If someone wanted to take advantage of a blind person, couldn't they just cut out a piece of paper of the same size?? Yes, I know that US bills feel different than regular writing paper because they are made partially of cotton, but you get my point. Blind people can also use credit/debit cards. And like the article says, it would cost way too much to change the currency. Plus, changing the color of money has already been debated in the past. Experts say that changing the color of the dollar bill would affect people's subconscious of the value of a dollar and consequently the economy. The affects could be much worse if we changed the size. Quote:

Quote From PS3 Shooting-
"Police also shot and killed Strickland's dog." why? what did the poor ****in dog do to anyone. People these days man. **** Cops. They are all so crooked and take too much out on people. |

I dont really care about the money thing, I dont think its going to happen. I thin it will fall to the side like eliminating the penny and changing the color liek soebody already said. But then again, NY just outlawed businesses from using trans fats, so crazier things have happened. As far as the middle east... it has always been a cluster ****, different sects of the muslim religion battelign it out for control while a majority of them are also fighting for the anialation of the jews. After the jews are gone from the holy land its onto the rest of the western world. Afterall, we are the powers that gave the Jews the holy land in the treaty of versille i believe it was. Yeah, the leader of Iran is kind of a nut, but the Iatola(sp) a few weeks ago has said he might cut Amadinajads term short. Also, nearly 70% of the countrys population is under 40 and a majority of them are sick of the oppresive nature of the government. A bunch of them just marched in tehran for more freedoms. In Palestine Hamas and fatah are battling for control and in Iraq the Sheitss and Sunnis are battling. Then in Syria there is a war brewing between Hamas and the christians. So its not just Iran and Iraq we have to worry about. Alot of this stuff would be goin on regardless of us going into Iraq. Did we mess up on going into Iraq... yeah. Can we change that...no. Would having more boots ont he ground have made a diff, who knows, I dont think so. I know we have a moral obligation to the people of iraq but where does that end? We have been tryign to protect everyoen while they fight a battle between themselves and some against us. I say we just move out and bring our troops home and stop delayign the inevitable. It doesnt matter if we leave in 2 days or in 20 years. once we do the two largest powers will begin a bloody battle for control as they are all over the middle east. |
