Time to wrap the P1s...

Alright - Looks like I need new tires, this time they are going on the P1s...

I am looking for a tire that is good in wet and dry - they will not be driven in snow. I am just going to buy my summer tires for next year now in order to pass inspection.

Looking at the Falken Ziex GRB FK452 or the Falken ZE-512.

I hear falken has some of the "stickiest" rubber so I am leaning in that direction. Anyone have experience with these tires or have a better tire to suggest?

I was quoted at 110 per tire, mounted, balanced, everything at Creamery Tire for the FK452s for 215/45/17. I don't think the ZEs are much more. Are there better tires for this price range? Are the ZEs better than the FK452s...?

*edit/ Also OEM is 205-55-16, would it matter if I make it 215-45-17? I don't think changing the sidewall height should matter but I don't want to all of a sudden just bottom out and damage the rim

if you are looking for wet and dry tires... and are not planning on driving them in the snow... id go a little bit more aggressive than the ziex's...browse tire rack and look at their ratings...youll find better tires than those... and on my mx6 i jumped from 205/55/16 to 215/45/17's with no issues...

I am trying to stay in the range of 110 mounted per tire, and thats what I was quoted on the 452s at.
