what's the backstory on this ?

When I upgraded to a FMIC, the FMIC came with a new coolant reservoir. this new reservior uses the stock radiatior cap but has poor fitment. so about a week after I installed the FMIC, I lost the cap.

The install happened almost a year & a half ago.

so all that time, I have been without a cap.

that picture of all the people pointing was taken at the SEMA IAS show, where i still did not have a cap.

It was not until Jim (dancemf666) parted out his car that i was able to find a replacement. Im sure a 2 minute trip to the dealer or junkyard would have gotten me one, but I am too lazy.

so here, almost 1 1/2 years later, my car is complete once again.

This is pretty freaking funny if you know Fred. I think every time he popped his hood someone mentioned to him that it was missing.
