Final Fantasy XII
 

Has anyone else bought this yet. I was a little weary because i hated X, and Wasnt even remotely interested in XI because it was online. But I thought I would give FF another chance.

I cant figure out why I like it, the battle system is a free roam turnbased system, So you can run but you will still get hit. Youre only real benifit to it is that if you run far enough you might change who the enemy targets.

And moving on the screen is a little weird because the right anolog stick is bacwards, right goes left vice versa.

The whole game is weird unlike any i have played yet. And Ive played them all. NES, SNES, PSX, PS2, GC,GB blah blah. But for some reason I want to keep playing.

One thing I can say is that its very much FFVI worldly. I just miss having an overworld to roam. Anyways, just wanted to see if anyone else shared the interest.

I kinda like it.

It has the MMORPG feel to it...without the online.

Hard to explain.

XII = pretty fun, slightly innovative

lets see, you missed tg16, jaguar, 3do, neo geo, and all the sega units

I have it I really like it so far but I can't seem to tear myself away from PunchMe long enough to play FF12 much.

I will get more pleasure out of the 3D Re-Release of FF III on Nintendo DS!

Yeah Im kinda psyched about that. I played for like an hour straight today but there was no save in sight and then died so im a little dissapointed.

I've put a total of 11 hours in so far (7 just tonight!). I'm just escaping the jail now.....

FFXII is the best one of the series Graphics & Game Engine wise. Of course FF7 has the best storyline. I bought 12 last week and its addicting. For some of you RPG guys that say these games are too easy. Just put the setting on real time. I did that for about the last 4 hours of game play, and its outrageous. Plus 12 has gambits which give your characters AI support. Telling them what to do & when. I think this is the best one out of all the series, but thats my opinion. & I also can't believe no one on here gave props to FFX. At that time, there were no other story lines, graphics & gameplay but came close. IMO. Hope that helps.

i love FFXII i got hooked with 10 and have been playing ever since right now i am stuck LIKE A PIG trying to beat the damn gaurds and JUDGES and keep dying. but i am hating the way the fighting is set up i get killed way too easy and it sucks! good to see i am not the only FF head on here other than Roy (GOHAN)

ff12 kicks ass! im in the dungeons now! the princess looks like yuna?

do u know of any good mmorpg's other than wow...im looking for a new one to fill all of my free time during the day....college gets real boring inbetween classes...and madden is finally getting old.

I hear that star wars one is pretty sweet. I don't play too many of those though. Just FF RPG's. :)
