Mrytle Madness 9! = vacation for me.
 

well folks, im 99% sure none of you know what the hell im talking about besides the maybe 2 probe/mx6 owners on here... myrtle madness is the worlds largest probe and mx6 car show... it happens every year the second weekend in the november in myrtle beach, SC. it really is a beautiful thing haha... lots of old friends from all over the world, lots of cool/nice car... a couple ****ty ones... and of course... alcohol... this was created by kids in their 20's 9 years ago... and its been amazing ever since... this will be my 3 year in a row going down there.. my first year without an mx6... so ill get to relax a bit more and not worry about the show... i dont think you guys will understand the importance this has without really being part of it... i mean some guys spend their entire year getting ready... but yea i thought id share a bit with you guys... if you wanna check out a bit more info on it

oh i figured id also mention the famous NEPO caravan (nee-poe)... every year people from all over the country make the trek... we are leaving around 3:30am tomorrow morning... and meeting up with people in DE on 95 at the rest stop, then moving on to Dale City, VA, then NC, then myrtle!... its a blast... this will be my second year leading the caravan... last year i led roughly 45-50 cars into myrtle beach... its a sight to behold... even if you are not into probes/mx6's...

I was going to go this year and then I had to move that weekend so that was all shot to hell. I will be going to one, maybe next year. Take lots of pics and post them when you get them. Keep an eye out for the first gens.

first gen mx6's are extremely rare at myrtle... at one point i wanted to get one and put a vulcan v6 out of the first gen probe in there..

I've seen some nasty things done to the vulcan but fe3 all the way

my friend sold his 500+whp fe3 not too long ago.. was in a probe tho.

I have a friend now thats working on one but he keeps blowing head gaskets.

sounds like a good time, but that would almost equal the amount of miles on my car right now in a weekend
