Nice cars.

You might want to blur out the plates. This is the internet.

Jeffros Spec V 05-24-2005 12:29 AM

What kind of rubber you have?

LSHatch: How can I blur out the plates? Sorry for the dumb question.

Jeffros Spec V: They are the Falken Azenis ST-115's. I love them and they are really QUIET!

Piker28: How do they look with powdercoated? Do you have any pics?

Use microsoft paint or photoshop if you have it and just paint over the area. That's a rough way to do it.

Everyone on here is a good group, but there are lurkers on every website.

i never understood the whole blurring of the licenseplate thing. how many people see your licence plate on the road every day? what's someone on the internet going to do with it that ANYONE else couldnt?

ive also pondered the same ...

SilverTurboRidin 05-24-2005 01:37 PM

Blurring the plate out is useless...if someone is gonna see your plate when driving...whats the difference if you got it in some pics...and the whole oh they can find out where you live and steal things...thats a joke

LSHatch 05-24-2005 02:11 PM

Ok. Keep telling yourselves that.

I know of plenty of cars on Honda-tech that have gotten stolen because they didn't blur their plates.

Difference between on the road and on the internet.... They can easily look at your tag on the net for a long period of time and research it. On the road, they either need to have a good memory or a pencil handy.

piker28 05-24-2005 02:14 PM

^hey if it gives me that little more security i wont have to worry about then ill blur em

you're right. if i was driving down the road, i'd probably think something like this- "hmmm... i wonder if that's the same debadged, sti-winged, rays-wheel-wearin, fog-light-covered, cf-hooded, fmic'd, bodykit'd, smoked-headlight'd wrx that i saw on tst? i guess i'll never know... that damn guy blurred his license plate!!!"

and seriously, who carries a pencil in their car, or can remember SEVEN digits?? crazy talk.

;)

Who'd steal a saturn?

TalonTsi97 05-24-2005 04:00 PM

Car looks great. I saw you at the tires plus that day and i really liked your car. Look forward to seeing it in person again.
