Shirts, part 2.
Hi guys, just trying to get an idea of what size we all are. Granted, It'll vary, but I need a ratio of sizes. Tentatively its just white t's with black print. Any problems are to be taken up with me. If you're positive you're taking one and want something bigger than the above choices, let me know.

Did the first thread have a finalized design? I must have missed it.

Not really. This is the beta batch.
I'm going to burn two logos on one screen. I was originally going to do this on the front in the center of the chest: http://home.comcast.net/~ricknaj/tristate5.jpg ...with the angry piston on the back. Having two logo's on one shirt is a bit conflicting and twice the work. I may do one like that for myself, maybe a few so other indecisive people can have both, otherwise you'll get one or the other on just the front. |
I would be in for a black t-shirt with tristatetuners.com in small white lettering across the chest. But that isnt what your doing.

What kind of fabric? 100% cotton pre or no pre-shrunk cause ther is a huge diffrence. Not to sound ghey or anything. ;)

Im dyslexic. Probably? Why?

White ink needs to be oil based before it will come out well on dark colors. I don't have any and don't want to put more money into this. I have some colors of the rainbow and a lot of black. I'd like to use one color, which will be black. Black on white is the easiest. As far as material, I have no clue. This is the Michael's (craft store) special. The shirt will be super cheap if printed. My emultion has dried up. I need to find some tomorrow. There are only two supply stores in our phonebook. If neither have it this gets put on hold. Otherwise, this is non-profit with only the cost passed along to members. I expect the tshirts to be $4-5, and the emultion to be ~$20. We're looking at $6-7 per shirt.

im talking about using the reflective silver for the font color....this way it reflects in the light

Well this is an idea, but something I've never worked with. As far as I know, the inks are not sold with this luster. However, I have a can of very fine metallic fiber made exactly for these purposes. I really just want to get one batch out so that we have them. After this past weekend's SEMA event I think its evident it this forum would be a bit more attractive if we showed up with some force, not just Fred's car. And, seeing as how it was in Atlantic City and that's pretty much where I'm living these days, It would have been nice to have people in that area on here.

black shirt!
I need more black shirts to wear under my BDUs. I cant justify spending $9 on a plain black t-shirt at the BX anymore. |
if its the shirts you can buy right off the rack at michaels, they are 100% preshrunk cotton. I wear relatively tight shirts (5'6'' 125lbs, skinny) and I COULD go with an xsmall but a small fits fine. Maybe that can help anyone gauging their size. otherwise lets make a TST meet at michael's next to circuit city. i know a girl who works there we can all go try on the shirts first. lol (thats a joke btw but hey go try on one anyway)
|
Actually, Michael's employees get like 15% off. Since we're talking over $100 worth of shirts the discount would be great. She's not working today is she??
Anyway, I'm going to pick up that emultion now. If anybody wants to lend a hand today in printing them please pm me with a phone number. |
I'm for the grey shirt with black print. And I also like the black shirt with white lettering. But it seems i came into this thread a wee bit too late.

Alrighty, after some errands I have the screens emulsified (if thats a word) and am waiting for them to dry. Any takers on the help?
