Yet another reason to not own a honda.

I am not sure if you guys had followed the other post ab out my car being broken into and the front end being takin outside of my house the other day, but this is just some keen sweet follow up.

Above is what my car looked like after leaving it parked on the street like an idiot. Its a shame that I have to take responsibility for my own car being broken into because its a honda and I should know better then to park it out front of my house. No major damage, just a pain in the ass getting all the parts back together. Well, today while I was in jersey picking up replacement headlights, I get a call from my roomate

ANOTHER BREAK IN.

I bet your asking yourself, why would this idiot leave his car like that in the middle of the street? Well, I didnt. Today was a little bit different. Someone broke into the house that is being shared with me by 2 other roomates, to open the garage and take the entire thing. IN a small town in delaware... I had my car parked in central jersey for the longest time and nothing happened to it-- and i come to this hillbilly town and get hit twice in 2 weeks.

Now normally, as a honda owner you just build break ins and theft damage into your budget, however now we are talking about the safety of the people I live with and their possesions that are in the house.

I have no choice but to bow out gracefully, and leave the honda game for a very long time. I will probably get out of the tuning scene for a good amount of time as well to recover from the dog**** that has happened the past few days.

/rant

PS if you know of the people who did this, or are t he person who did this....You will probably get caught. Not by me obviously because I am 0-2, but eventually. And if you dont, I am just gonna keep saying it to myself because it will make me feel better. maybe.

james_ls 10-28-2006 04:18 PM

Pic works now.

Dude...did they hit anything inside the house?? Or just go for your car??

Think about how weird that is...unless they KNEW your car was there...and its the same people from before...

Something seems strange.

HondaChic 10-28-2006 04:21 PM

The picture works on my computer... so I dunno... As another honda owner.. I havent had any problems with any of that... now that I said it I probably will... that sucks what happened to your car... I have lived in Delaware my whole life and have never had my car broken into... thats crazy... I lived in a pretty bad neighborhood and still nothin... Sorry to hear about everything thats happened... and that sucks that because of this **** ur gonna stop tuning.. Good luck with everything

CleanNeon98 10-28-2006 04:22 PM

ITSTOCK 10-28-2006 04:23 PM

ummm

Where exactly do you live? I think that would be the first thing to blame theft on. Oh well, sorry to hear.

Silverfc88 10-28-2006 04:26 PM

:jawdrop: Is all I got to say. I loved your car and I can't believe they would come back for it. Your not the first one I've heard about breaking into the house just to get the car.

I wish the best of luck for you.

im gonna lean towards, your roommates. sorry to say, but it seems like the theifs know when and where to go, 2 times in a row. and yea, seems a bit crazy... no person is stupid enough to rob a house during the day, with people all around, and look for keys, and then steal a car, and not steal anything else?!?

Buster 10-28-2006 06:23 PM

Thats because its Deleware, **** though, if you want a new vinless engine its around.

Honduh 10-28-2006 06:34 PM

**** dude I was looking forward to coming to help you with the wire tuck.

So they stole the freaking thing with no front end on the car?

G1GSX 10-28-2006 06:40 PM

it had to have something to do with your roomies no doubt about it.

StreetEG 10-28-2006 06:51 PM

no they didnt take the whole car, my one roomate came in early and spooked them right when they got in. I dont live in a bad neighborhood either....its a in a decent size hour in newark outside of campus....

StreetEG 10-28-2006 06:52 PM

and as for it being the roomates its a girl, and her cousin, both complete opposites...there are some shady people down the street who I think might have just had the opportunity to know when things are around and when they arent at my house....

so then what did they take? and how did they escape when the roomate came home?

james_ls 10-28-2006 07:25 PM

Something doens't seem right....

ho1ywars 10-28-2006 07:27 PM

buy a gun and camaras. im serious.

antlip 10-28-2006 08:19 PM

im confused?????? they first stole your bumper, head lights and hood (what i see in picture missing). how did they manage to pop open the hood without damaging anything? if they did damage something it would of been the hood and bumper which they took. im so confused by why would someone do that.

Honest_Bob 10-28-2006 08:25 PM

That really sucks, that must really kill any ambition you have for anything. Why go out and buy something really nice when some asshole is gonna steal it anyway. Why mow the lawn when someones just gonna steal your lawnmower? Why buy a new TV? Why buy a nice new ceiling fan? Hell, why be nice to anyone? They could be the one that has no respect for anything and stole your stuff.

Time to get the hell out of where your at, buy a 1984 subaru wagon and live out the back of that ****.
