watch any news channel its on right now. said it was a helicopter..no real details. looks to be and apt building.:cry:


just heard that its more than likely not a terrorist attack.

man this new changes so fast it went from a plane to a helicopter...

this reporter is an idiot...they dont know whether its a plane/helicopter.
then he proceeds to say if it was a plane maybe he didnt know his way around manhattan!! um theres big asss buildings dont hit them....reporters are idiots.

Can you believe that they delayed all planes from LGA and JFK? wow, my boss just told me so I bet I will be getting alot of calls from people asking about it lol. No good!

My g/f was told about this by her mom and step-dad via text message.

She's looking into schools in NY for her PHd and found one she really likes. They're using every little reason to persuade her not to go to NY for school.

theres nothing confirmed..two "eyewitnesses" had two different stories. one said plane, the other helicopter.:roll:

They said they're trying to get the registration to the plane to find out what kind of plane it is.

yeah but funny thing it was on the north side which is controlled by the FAA... either way it sucks and so do reporters who dont know crap:roll:

Four passenger plane that took off from North Jersey. The pilot was having fuel problems, made a mayday distress signal, tried to bank to the right to avoid crashing into the building, but failed.

just heard cory lidle, yankee pitcher was on the plane....

Cory Lidle was piloting the plane (Yankees pitcher). He was by himself and lost control. He is a newly licensed pilot with under 400 hrs solo time. Flip on ESPN, they have all the indepth details.

That is really sad. You know it will be the only thing talked about for the next few days now. I feel bad about that. May he rest in peace.

My Dad is a pilot. He was just over the Pocono's enroute to Newark when the ATC notified him that LGA arrivals went into a holding pattern.

Scray. Another guys with to much money and not enough experience to be flying in bad weather.
