with a 2.5L and gt35 don't you think you should go with a weld in cage. Your not the only one wit big plans, I know alot of us are stepping it up big time over winter.

dancemf666 09-28-2006 06:02 PM

Are you gonna bring it to etown for the shootout?

jimtweet 09-28-2006 06:10 PM

i think so, but some people are saying there is no show, its only racing, the show part of it was cancelled and is notbeing made up...

are you guys know me, i am not racing yet...hahaha

D Money 09-28-2006 06:14 PM

No. The show part wasn't cancelled lol. It was already judged at the last trial of the shootout.

BTW, the sparco's look dope. I really like how they say sparco on the back of the seat, reminds me of Brides.

What about a sparco steering wheel? I just sold my suade one to Fred, woulda looked hot in your car. Had to switch it up and go Personal. lol

TROLL 09-28-2006 06:17 PM

You still haven't found an 04-05 base yet?

Good Jim,
I am working on designing my induction kit this winter which I plan to sell in group buy next Spring/Summer depending on results. I already have the V-Mount intercooler designed and have hooked up with an aluminum IC, Radiator, Tubing manufacturer.

I almost have my "roller barrel" individual throttle bodies designed as well. I expect a final TB design in about 2 weeks, then it is on to finishing the dual manifold.

I think I can put this whole kit together for < $3K and maybe even less depending on volume and future prices.

Kit will include:

V-Mount 1 in/2 out intercooler
Dual intake manifolds with internal trumpets
F1 Roller Barrel individual throttle bodies (Replaces TGV valve assembly)
These have 0 flow restrictions at WOT. (Similar to a ball valve)
Vaccum Accumulator + vac manifold for ITBs
Upgraded front mount radiator
IC Tubing
Relocated Oil fill tube

Bill
