they are currently hooked up with a switch. They will soon be hooked up to the alarm in addition so that when you arm the alarm the mirrors close, and when you disarm they will open

those are pretty sick, ive never seen power folding mirrors before. and wiring it into the alarm system is badass

Id say there JDm because they werent equipped on USDM vehicles. I know integras and subarus didnt come with them over here but in Japan they had them

Parking spots are tiny in japan so a lot of cars have these over there. For example the early sentras in Japan had power folding mirrors, but over here they were never offered.

they are JDM cause they are off of a VR4. Folding mirrors weren't offered on the USDM galants, let alone power folding. And the glass was JDM as well, made for right hand drive galant

Many a Mercedes...high end VW//Audi (A8 and the likeness) also the new RL has the option to it.

My dad's Tahoe has this... I think it's sweet on that and I think they're even sweeter on this. JDM makes everything better :)

yea the 323/protege/escort has it's cousin 198x/9x 323 running around in japan with power folding mirrors. just wired a set on my friend's turbo escort, they are really nice. mine fold..manually...after swapping usdm protege ones on.
