track conditions were 80+ degrees at a track which didn't spray VHT down. 2nd would spin bad as i shifted. at a good track i'd have dipped into 14s. Its not fast but for the car it did pretty good:)

low 15's in an elentra, thats really good.

SUB2.5RS 09-07-2006 01:04 AM

Wow this is a first for me. Not saying anything bad on your behalf but I've never really seen an Elantra with work done. Looks good.

Cypher 09-07-2006 01:07 AM

there might be more surprises in store for next spring. i haven't decided yet. waiting to see how the job situation works out.

BlackBulletTSi 09-07-2006 01:34 AM

Gorilla Unit 33 09-07-2006 02:10 AM

if your spinning "so bad" in an elantra with only 140whp why dont you get some drag radials for them tires ecsta's arent going to do

Ender81 09-07-2006 02:57 AM

While this isn't the first Elantra I've seen with some things done to it I think this is the first time i have ever seen or heard of an Elantra going on a Dyno lol. Nice job :)

gregfeder 09-07-2006 03:23 AM

this puts little d's elantra to shame... he's going to have to step up his game.

nice stuff cypher

XxaltezzaxX 09-07-2006 08:21 AM

Wow not bad, I sure as hell wouldn't see that coming.

i don't think my words were "so bad". the track i pulled the 15.3 at was one that didn't spray down much VHT (that stuff that makes you stick). Cecil county dragway for any who may know it. I'd have done better if i went to my usual track which was Capitol Raceway in Crofton. I'm not making excuses or anything tho mind you. I just knew what the car was capable of and knew i could've done at least a 15.1 with better conditions and a stickier track. Which still isn't FAST but it was enough to surprise people who didn't know better;)

james_ls 09-07-2006 12:35 PM

LoL origonal ans NOT riced.

Cool.

CHAOS 09-07-2006 12:41 PM

does the 4g63 drop into these like it does the accent?

Cypher 09-07-2006 12:56 PM

it'll drop in the older ones. pre-96s i believe. those models before that had the mitsu engine so the turboed one could drop in problem. i've always wanted to pick one of those up as a project. i wasn't aware it dropped into the accents? maybe the older ones as well

CHAOS 09-07-2006 01:11 PM

yea buddy, sleepers, it drops into the dodge colt too i belive... my buddy had a 4g63 colt with a holset turbo... put down over 400 to the wheels... he spun the tires at 60mph.

Cypher 09-07-2006 01:25 PM

a buddy of mine in florida has a tiburon with the same engine as me. bunch of work done. he broke the tires loose going 120 (thats shifting into 5th!). dynoed 327whp at 22psi that was before he finished up his setup. now he has the T3/T4 turbo with the mastertrim .60 compressor wheel. i can't wait to see his final numbers!

yeah it does. Your elantra motor looks different than mine. Mine has this huge cover on it and it's slow as balls. lol

Cecil FTW! lol. Ah I love going there, its so redneck, and they let ya race dam near anything with wheels.

Keyan 09-07-2006 03:32 PM
