STOLEN CAR: 97 Bright Green Civic!!! from NE Philly
 

My fiance's car was stolen overnight on Friday from right outside of our house in the Mayfair section of NE Philly. If anyone sees a bright Green (House of Kolor Planet Green) Civic rolling around or parked somewhere, please call the police for me! It had white motegi wheels and a sticker of a flower in the rear window. Please keep your eyes peeled, I'll post some pictures of it tonight!

2 dr EX.

The car stands out. The color is much brighter than the stock green so unless it's in a million pieces right now, it should be relatively simple to spot!

Her car did have an alarm... obviously, that doesnt mean it can't be stolen.

Is it insured?

At first I thought I knew the ride, but where I always see a green one isn't in Mayfair. I'll definately keep an eye out as well roll past two of the "known" places where "borrowed" cars are taken. Also, if you can get that pic up too.

It's insured. To be honest, we'll probably get more in insurance than I'd think it's worth. But all of this is just a pain in the ass to go through.

Oh ok, I'm glad you at least have theft insurance. That would be cool if you get more than its worth!

Was there anything special done to it like a engine swap? Or was it just rims and paint? I live around the area so I'll keep a look out.

I'm a fan of subtle ball-breaking. Nicely done. You even added the good ol' 'I'll keep an eye out' at the end to make it seem as though it wasn't a bust, lol. Very nice. :thumbup:

stick or auto?

Just the stock Honda 1.6 Vtec. Automatic.
Painted that color because it was in a small accident and the hood needed to be painted anyway. So for another $150 i bought the paint to do the whole car.

I live in mayfair. I'll keep my eye out for sure..

unfortunately Im sure its long gone from Mayfair by now. When my Intrepid was stolen a few years back it was taken from University City and found up near Franklin Mills Mall.
