New Stoney Creek meet location?
Who knows if we will be able to stay at Stoney Creek anymore because of getting kicked out. Justin (JDlude99) and myself have been thinking of a different location to try out. We were thinking back next to the Home Depot in Laurence Park shopping center. There is a large lot back there and it looks like a good location. Let me know what you guys think.

maybe... the spot seems ok. but is anyone from around therer that can get some info, and let the people know we are not gonna start ****?
We've also been throwing around the idea of using the old Frank's Nursery parking lot on baltimore pike(in front of putt-putt) There's lots of light, plenty of food options and I think it's technically a different juristiction in terms of police. Plus its a few lights up the street from the old meeting spot.
possibly the industrial center also
I would def try Franks in my opinion. Same location pretty much, yet diff enforcement. Plus bike shows on friday nights, plus many food places all in one area.
I like the Franks idea but ill show up for the meets no matter where they are. I will not be able to make it to this Fridays meet becuase i will still be in upstate NY but i'll be there next week for sure.
anyone ever think of the old tweeter parking lot past 9 normally michael's its neighbor is closed and also the toys r us is closed down for good and you guys could get together behind there and the cops would never know
good idea ^
I always see cops sitting back there.

BAD IDEA!! the lot is connected to the home depot right, by soapysuds. Anyway, the cops came to us when we were actually cleaning our cars at soapy suds and freaked. trying to give us tickets for our tint and stuff. Saying groups hang there in the lot and are nothing but trouble. If you move there i won't be joining ya. since i got my warning from them already and don't wan't another tint ticket. |
if you guys cant find anywhere im sure you all could chill at leedom schools parking lot without any trouble
thinking that too. and eat at that pizza place out back. We could always go to leedom firehouse lot and park on the lawn behind it.

We need to get out of the way of local police... maybe find somewhere that is only state patrolled, well not even patrolled in their case. I can't really think of any good locations unless you guys wanna drive 10 miles or so, but it's just a suggestion.
10 miles is nothing... i am just tired of only meeting in richboro. it takes like an hour to get there.
See lj and everyone has some good opinions, but the problem is we cant really technically just elude the cops, due to the fact the stupid **** people do when they leave and enter the meets. It creates attention. If we meet at Michaels or Toys R us that might work, but more than likely the same cop will kick us out bc its not even a half mile away from StoneyCreek.
Ok guys lets do this, meet thgis friday at Jims, once everyone is there we will head down the road to a new spot if everyone is cool with it. I have a location that i think might work, and is lit all night at least till 11. I have been checking up on it.
Get out of the area. Find a business with a small back lot, that is open late... Not busy like Denny's or Mcdonalds, not closed or dead like a clothing store, or small retsaurant, and not abandoned like a Franks or something like a Home Depot... that is begging a cop to cruise through. Like I said I don't know the area, and even though some of you say you'll drive 10 miles, I know you won't.
^^I drive atleast 15 miles to get to springfield anyway...10 more really isn't a big deal. It also seems like those people that have been having meets in Chi have been doing it more, and seem to have no police trouble. That could be a possibility
OK, so I talked to a Sgt. from springfield police today (my boss' brother), he said to give Jims another try... He also said that as long as we are patrons in the stores in that shopping center (ie. when we all buy food) we are ok, the only thing they can really do is kick us out.... they cant give us any tickets (unless you have illegal things done to your car) he also mentioned to me that the cop that was working that night only works every 4th friday... due to how Springfield works there schedule's (12 hour shift, every other week, every 3rd friday off).... So I think we should give Jims another try... and LETS BE SMART!! no speeding, no reving.. stuff like that...
