I'm in alot of pain

Did too much weight on the shoulder press machine, and I hurt myself bad.
I'm not sure what is wrong, but i have trouble turning my neck without pain, and I can't really move my left arm without feeling pain..

all the pain is like in my back, right below the left shoulder.

I had something wrong with my neck and I couldn't move it without pain. That was when I was lifting weights too I believe. Take some Advil or whatever you choose and it should just heel soon enough. It it is the same thing I had I felt better the next morning but not a 100%.

i actually had this problem last week and it went away, but this time it happened while at the gym lol

sounds like a pinched nerve or somethin like that. jus rest and ice/advil if ya like and you should be ok..unless it persists then see your local physician

my friend at the gym thinks that my cartiledge on tendons or whatever are just not happy because of the massive gains in strength, and where the body did not adjust to it.

I added about 40 lbs to this lift from 3 weeks ago ;)

You know a pinched nerve would case numbness, loss of feeling, and pain for no reason. it sounds more like a soft tissue problem and should heal on it's own, but it's been a few weeks it may be a good idea to get it looked at just to be safe.

Sure, advil will relieve the pain, but it won't solve the problem - whether it is muscular or skeletal. Something like this could be anything and the only person that could can help you is a doctor who can really figure out what is wrong. I had a back problem from working out about a week ago and the doc said it was a muscular problem. he told me to do some new stretches I never heard of. I did them, and the pain went away. Just go see your doctor for something this serious.
