How to adjust clutch on a 1997 VW Jetta
 
Like the title says how the hell do you adjust the clutch on a 1997 VW Jetta, i just installed a fresh clutch in and its releasing all the way up top and it slips :( pissed as hell because i don't know how to adjust this POS

Its a cable clutch nothing to bleed

I thought most VWs were hydraulic clutches by A3 generation.

theres no auto adjuster on the pedal? should be something down there

its auto adjustable on the transmission but i think the "auto" part is effed up

If its a 2.0 SOHC, there is an adjustment piece near the trans.

just slam the clutch in a few times.
