so troll and barry how do i get a free ipod?

slavetothemuzic 06-29-2006 05:05 PM

I have a 40GB iPod. Eff paying for any of the picture, or video, or special edition iPods. I bought it for music, plain and simple.

I have a connector to my main house stereo for it. I have iPod compatible head units in both my 240 and my Jeep.

As for size, I won't be upgrading until there's an iPod with over 100G available, since I have 200+ GB of mp3s.

Any any given time, there is only one kind of iPod on the market, which in my case was the video iPod. You can't go out now and buy a brand new B&W iPod.

200+ mp3s... ripped at 128kbps? 192? or Apple's lossless file format, which makes each file like 1,200kbps??

When I bought mine, I could have bought a photo iPod, but I searched specifically for a non photo model.

95% + are at 128K

I'm still in the process of cleaning effed up id3 tags (missing year, or wrong genre) and finding album art.

At the office, we've set up a stealth music server running a slick web interface. Right now it has over 125GB, and is growing at about 5-10GB per week (hard to clean more than that).

so people at your office just keep adding all their music to this server? that's sweet as hell!

Yeah, the only issue is when they just bring the piles of CDs to me to rip them.
