Post your favorite song/band that others probably havent heard [of]...
I thought I started a thread like this a long time ago, but maybe not. Whats better than finding a new song or band that is excellent, but you didnt know about before?
Lets share... These two songs are kinda chill funky slower songs, but they're different and they're damn good... Not exactly underground but I heard this on the radio for the first time yesterday and its really good... Black Eyed Peas featuring Jack Johnson - Gone Going I also really like... Herbie Hancoc-k featuring John Mayer - Stitched Up (edit... damnit would ya look at that censorship, sheesh <---) Please reserve this thread for music that isnt really well known... only lesser known stuff here that is worth sharing. |
Shiki no Uta by Minmi
Last Sasketchewan Pirate by Arrogant Worms No 5 by Hollywood Undead |
Found this band about 2 months ago and havent gone a day without listening to them since.
My contribution.... Boys Night Out - Where We Breathe |
Switchblade by Lars Fredrickson and the Bastards
March of the Fire Ants by Mastodon Mandible by E-town Concrete |
I've been listening to The Mermen lately. Kind of Dick Dale/ Ventures surfing tunes with a modern twist. One of the best live shows I've ever seen.

If you like the Herbie with John Mayer song, you should defenitely
check out his fusion stuff from the early 70s. The guy was a mad scientist with his barrage of keyboards. Two albums you should check out are Headhunters and Proof. |
ALL Of Hollywood Undeads Stuff...Its more of a Rap/Rock/Techno Vibe with like 11 guys or so...The sound is def nothing I've ever heard.
Some day by Flipside. |
Kotton Mouth Kings - Tangerine Sky
When I lived in Arizona they were a local band. I use to attend their crazy ass house parties every Thursdays. |
