BMW M3 Scam!!
So i was on cars.com last night and i found a BMW M3 for only $7,000, i was like this is too good to be true. So i e-mailed the guy last night and i asked him the basics (condition, miles, asking price and etc.) and he responed with this...
Hello there, My name is William Gail, I email you regarding the 2002 BMW M3 that I have it for sale. EXTERIOR: The exterior paint is called Jet Black. This is a perfect color for a BMW M3, very distinctive and sporty! You will without a doubt enjoy numerous compliments driving this sensational ride! The Xenon bulbs really light up the front end at night while the back end is decked with 2005 tail lenses. The 19" alloy wheels nicely compliment the Michelin Pilot tires. INTERIOR: You will notice that an Imola Red Leather color scheme is found in the seating, carpets and trim. The seats feel slick and smooth and are in great condition. The slate grey trim on the door panels add a subtle richness to the Imola Red interior. This BMW carries the following features to make your drive pleasurable, yet exhilarating: Navigation, Heated Seats, AM/FM/Cassette Radio, CD Player, Leather Steering Wheel, Steering Wheel Controls for Stereo and Cruise control, Digital Climate Control, Leather Sport Power Driver Seat, Leather Sport Power Passenger Seat, Memory Driver Seat, Power mirrors, Cup-holders, Floor mats, and Xenon headlights. Thanks William Gail |
where he located? I bet hes in the UK and you would have to pay thru an escrow service.

no good...i hate when people try to pull scams
|
since he didnt answer my actualy question, i asked again.
This what he said, I wrote some additional info about the deal because I received a lot of offers for this car and I want to select my buyer. The car is located in San Martin, California but don't worry I will pay shipping to your house. I have to tell you that I recently moved to Birmingham, United Kingdom due to work and family. I lost my job and now the bank knocks at my door to pay the rate for the house I bought so I really need to sell the car fast to solve this issue. The price is $7,900. As this is a large purchase I suggest using a third party to complete this purchase. For safety reasons I think that the most important thing, when we make a deal over the Internet, is both of us to have 100% protection in case of fraud or anything else. I had the car listed on a couple of websites and I want to finalize the deal through a third party escrow agent that will provide 100% protection for buyer and seller. We will use Ebay's Secure Payment Center to handle the funds. They will also offer you a 5 days inspection period with money back guarantee. I have a $20,000 insurance policy with them so We will be both refunded in case of something happens. As soon as the payment will be made I will take a plane to US and take care of the rest of the things ( shipping of the car along with the title ). This is how the deal works: 1.The Seller will open the transaction --> 2.The buyer has to make the payment to Ebay's Payment Center and they will deposit the money into their secure escrow account --> 3. The seller will ship the item to the buyer and he has 5 days to inspect it -->4.The buyer will contact Ebay and will notify them if he is satisfied or not --> 5.Ebay will release the money to the seller(in case the buyer is satisfied) or will refund the buyer(in case he is not satisfied). If you agree with my terms please send me your full name and address so I can open a case with Ebay. Remember that time is an issue for me and I received many emails regarding the car, so please contact me ONLY if you are interested I will wait your reply. PS : Don't forget to send me your full name and address. Doesn't this sound familar guys??? I want to email him back, and tell him i have cousins not to far from where the car is located, or something like that. Give me some ideas to shut this give up for good. |
Just like the last one, he'll say it is in a garage and he is in the UK with the key, etc etc.
Why bother with this nonsense? Just report it and be done with it all.... |
total scammer...you should give us his e-mail so we can flame him

williamskidss@yahoo.com
have fun guys, this guy is a bastad haha everyone should e mail him and be interested in the BMW |
im sure its gonna kill him to get a new yahoo account. you guys sure showed him...
|
i've been scammed before, not as much as that, but somewhere out there someone is falling for it and that makes me mad
|
You might ask him if you can fly to California to personally pick up the car. Upon inspection you'll make the payment direct and in full.
Just to watch him squirm... A $7900 e46 is a huge tip off. I've seen salvaged M's go for more than twice that. |
The thing about moving to the UK and blah blah blah....I got the SAME **** about a Turbo GSR awhile ago....
Wonder if its the same douchebag?? |
I'll sell my 2002 M3 6 speed for 7900......plus 29000
|
The second repsonse that he sent to you is pretty much a copy/paste from the email that Ryan (rayn4eleven) got when a scammer listed RYAN'S car on autotraders or one of those websites. It's guaranteed the same guy. Search the forums, you'll find it.
|
i wouldnt bet on it being the same guy.. theres TONS of these guys online. its probably the biggest money maker there is in nigeria(this scam, among others). they pretty much all use the same types of emails and crap and have bad english.
|
